Pregnancy signs

Quite a big part of mothers do not expect to become one. They do not have any pregnancy tests in their drawer or are not ready to sit in the car and go straight to the gynecologist, even if they have some thoughts that they might be pregnant. Every woman should know some signs, which would help them to come to the decision: are they pregnant or not?

Tiredness

It is one of the first signs you might notice. Feeling sleepy in every place you sit, taking a nap in your working place, just because you think your bed is too far… Even though you eat enough and sleep (obviously) more than enough, you are still tired? Where all your energy goes? Maybe to a little baby growing inside of you?

Missed period

Period is so usual for women, sometimes we even do not notice when  it comes and goes. If you track your period or maybe it is regular and you always know when it should come, but strangely it has skipped its time, don’t you think there is a chance you might be pregnant?

Nausea

It is already few days you have felt like you are okay, but those moments when you feel nauseous? You probably already know the answer why. You might feel that sickness in any time of the day, but it is most common for the mornings.

Toilet strips

Rushing to the toilet so often it even seems strange for you? That is the other common sign of pregnancy. Later in pregnancy the baby presses on the bladder and your visits to toilet become more regular.

Different nipples

Noticed a strangle tingling in your nipples and the area around them is turning to a darker color? Pregnancy hormones cause the body’s melanin production, which is responsible for the pigment in your nipples.

Breasts changes

Also very common sign of pregnancy is changes of your breasts. For most women breasts increase a full cup size within the first six weeks of pregnancy. They can even feel a bit heavier and more sensitive.

Metallic taste in mouth

If you feel like you have just been sucking on an old coin, you should know that this metallic taste is a common early sign of pregnancy and even has its own name: dysgeusia.

More emotional

The slightest thing is setting you off, from a mobile phone ad to a tiny work criticism that would normally be something you would forget in seconds, there could be a simple cause. Emotions tend to be all over the place in early pregnancy (of course, it’s those hormones), so if you are surprised at your reaction to all kind of things and you feel like you are a bomb of emotions, it might be time to go and buy that pregnancy test.

Hunger

Thinking all day about the food and feeling so ravenous? Eating strangest breakfast, lunch, dinner and feeling like you could easily eat it all again? It is quite a sign that your body wants food for two or more! A baby grows quickly in the first 20 weeks and needs many nutrients and calories to do it, so your body begs to eat more.

Pregnant or not?

Hopefully these signs will help you to understand your body changes. Are they caused by other little human in you or not. Even if the best way to check would be to visit a gynecologist, you can try to see if any of these signs fit you and find out the answer yourself.
